Trail reports will be posted and dated regularly as weather and conditions change. Please check below for updates

Feb 04, 2012....Trail Report(2nd hand)...All trails North of RT#16 in Abbot have been groomed and are surpisingly good riding. South of RT#16 still lacks snow and have multiple logging operations making it difficult to groom from Pease Bridge and to Kingsbury...Parkman still needs snow as well...!

Jan 5, 2012......All trails are still bare, awaiting the big one...we hope...trails are marked, most are staked. a reroute through McAllister property this year will be posted and marked soon. Keep up the prayers for SNOW!!!

March 5, 2011...All trails have been freshly groomed this morning and are in good shape for now, but rain is in the forecast as well as more snow to follow.
Feb 9, 2011...All trails in great shape, cold weather moving back in should help keep them that way, so get out and enjoy!
Jan 25, 2011...Sorry for the delay in getting out some reports. Been too busy ridin all the great trails, day and night!! All the trails in the Abbot area have been groomed and are in fantastic shape right now. Got a great base and plenty of powder still on top.  Charlie says the ponds are about as near perfect as they can be, so come on out and play. So get out, enjoy and ride safe!
Jan 3/2011  ...  Trails are passable but not in the best of shape yet! Still need more snow and cold weather to help freeze things up after this past weeks thaw.
Trail cleanup has started for the 2010-11 season. Contact any officer for information and volunteering your time. Hope to see you on the trails soon.

April-2010 Trail reports are done for another season. Seems like we had a short one this year, better luck next year maybe. Lets hope we can have a season like 2008-09 again soon.
2/27/10 - Trails are Ok as long as you watch for water holes. They keep popping up all over with all the wet heavy snow we,ve been having. Most trails still have pretty good cover on them, but it may not last long. We had 6-10" of wet snow here this week and now need some cold weather to keep it here.
2/5/10 - Sorry to be so long between reports, Hte grooming team from the BPRSC has been out doing repairs and grooming the trails and have reported that 95% of the trails north of RT#16 towards Piper Pd and north to Greenville are in excellent shape. THe guys hae done a great job getting the trails back in shape after all the rain we had last week. So I guess there is nothing more to do until we get more snow except get out on the trails and ride. Say hi to Mark, Charlie, Dan and Matt if you see them out on the trail for doing such a great job, Get out and enjoy.
1/12/10 - ...I did ride the entire length of piper and whetstone ponds on Sunday - everything seemed solid, no slush! I groomed from the campground up crazy bear, to the dam trail (very rock, need 12" or more to become good), up happy corner trail to Rt 16, then back and across whetstone, to the railroad bed, back to the campground finally. All in all, the trails are rideable, the best trails are our wide trails - logging roads, the tight trails through the woods are lacking snow and have rocks and stumps showing. Matt Snyder

1/8/10 - Had a pretty decent snowfall last weekend. All trails have been groomed and are in great shape. The trail across Piper Pond near the dam is currently in use. There have been no crossings on Whetstone Pond as of yet. We will be checking the ice regularly and will advise when it may be used. The trail from the Post Office to River Rd. still has some rough spots, especially near where it crosses RT#15. We can still use some more snow, but we seem to be off to a great start, so saddle up and enjoy while we can, I know I will. See you on the trail!!

12/30/09 - Hoping for a good amount of snow this weekend, over a foot forecast and we will be out grooming asap over the entire weekend.
12/15/09 - Haleys pit entrance to the ITS is back in use, latest snowfall was a good start, but we still need more to smooth out the rocks stumps and other bumps. The ITS trail is ok, but again, it needs a thicker base to really be enjoyable.
